Maybe consumers should strike? After all we pay exorbitant rates for cable and streaming services. In CT Comcast is owned by NBC and subscribers are limited with choices as they are a monopoly for cable! Hopefully the writers will prevail and get a fair deal?

That’s an excellent idea. I, for one, would love to get Fox off my cable.

Our solution: dump cable. We're saving a great deal of money every month. By subscribing to just a few streaming services, we get all the content we had actually used, plus access to some excellent series, documentaries, etc. These can be discontinued/renewed at any time, so we can pick up different services whenever we want. We also bought an antenna ($40 on amazon) and can watch local news and programming. All of this costs about 1/5 of what we were paying for cable (the zillion stations we never used, stations we did not want to support, and poor service). Highly recommended.

Fox News late night will continue. Apparently their writers don’t belong to the WGA and will continue to work. Scabs of a feather……

No worries. I was scratching my head to see the connection. I mean, I LIKE scones but I would never try to talk someone into that.
