Immigration policy certainly needs an overhaul, but Republicans' only response for many administrations and many Congresses has been "cease all immigration except from white Western Europeans." Since most rational white Western Europeans are happy where they live and aren't flocking here, it's not a realistic policy. MTG is just throwing stuff against the wall to see what will stick. She knows secession is unrealistic and would be much harder on her cons4tituents than it would be on the people they hate.

And as I was writing this yesterday, it dawned on me that she may need to be put in my own personal deep freeze, where I put Westboro Church years ago.

Electing "people" like MTG is proof that mean spirited loud mouths have a platform and with "leaders" like McTrump power! Dangerous times.

I'm stealing this line, but: Morons need representation, too?

I have to believe Margie’s fantasy includes authoritarian control of all those people who live in the increasingly blue, large cities and small towns in Georgia and other red states. Is there enough chain link to encircle the Atlanta metro area to contain the communists within? Can the socialist scum be purged from Athens and the University of Georgia be transformed into a re-education center for the white libs that can be saved? Ok, I’ve borrowed all this wacky imagery from Michelle Bachman (remember her) but if you try to conjure the visions spinning out in Margie’s walnut sized brain…..really, what else is there to imagine? The map of her secession includes many blue dots, black communities, Vietnamese fishing enclaves, undocumented immigrants in the kitchen of your favorite restaurant, your gay uncle the family doesn’t talk about, etc. I think (hope?) she lacks the capacity to plot out the details necessary for and consequences of her secession but I do think she has a vision of herself much like Trump. You know those freakish posters of Trump’s head grafted onto Stallone’s body? I imagine Marge falls asleep seeing herself clutching her AR-16 in her sleeveless shirt that shows off her biceps, wearing her sunglasses that keep ya’ll from reading her mind, riding in the back of a diesel pick up truck, maybe with Trump standing beside her (if he could lower his BMI 30 or 40 points). When you’ve got all that going on, why worry about the details. I hear the Steves, Bannon and Miller, and Michael Flynn want to help.

Crazy-Eyes Michelle? Of COURSE I remember her. How could one forget? And yes, I believe ol' MTG is just full of...ideas with scant skills to implement them. But Lord, if she'd just stop sharing on social media for a day...

My favorite coverage of the person who brought us "Jewish Space Lasers" was generated, oddly enough, by *extremely* conservative Congressman Ken Buck: https://www.newsweek.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-mocked-house-republican-over-constitution-wits-1825451

Nothing I might think of to say about her could top his exquisitely brutal comments.
