For myself, I find that nothing relieves the wheels-spinning sense of impending doom better than action that makes things better. That's one reason I find organic gardening/farming so healing. And I'm with you on the small contributions to candidates!
I think about how much more of my lawn I can turn into a pollinator garden, or where I can plant another tree, or how to create a hedgerow in CT. I only think about these things until the season leans further into autumn and I can actually do some hard work outside without risking my life.
Some campaigns have an air of legitimacy but not hers. I wonder if she chose to run just to gain a personal popularity contest with her other business interests.
I should probably run for something maybe I’d get a contribution if your hot and cranky.
I should have included the proviso “to legitimate campaigns.” No offense.

Just sent one off to Val Demings in FL. It wasn't a large contribution but it made me happy.
I don't know about you, but I give more in-state, and figure giving to out-of-state campaigns as giving them a little boost. :D
Connecticut is such a blue state, it makes more sense for me to give more out-of-state.
Taking a positive action always makes one feel better.

It is really bad out there. I don’t know how road crews and other outside-types do it.
I feel for them.
I saw a sign for her in my town and immediately judged the person whose yard it was. I mean, come ON.

I haven’t seen anything from her campaign that I’d take seriously but then, we are pretty far apart on political ideology.
She reminds me of another Republican woman from Greenwich.
I do not think she has a chance, either.
Well done!
