Yup, what a bout! Cautious optimism with a sprinkle of glee is the mood around my house. Geesh, I’m hesitant to burst into a happy dance, but 💃. So we take shaky breaths in and slowly blow out the tension in our necks and shoulders...ahhhh!

Give me a hope and a plan, and I’m good, hi ho! Your hope for our “home” state reflects mine. Dig it!

The piece de resistance was watching Capitol police and their families ignore McConnell and McCarthy during the awards ceremony

Watching McConnell standing there with his unshaken hand begging to be shaken was priceless

That WAS pretty awesome. Subtle. But awesome.

As we relish the good news of yesterday let us also reflect on this day, the 81st anniversary of the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. We can tie all events into ultimate victories for democracy! God bless America and thanks to the GREATEST generation for your sacrifices in defense of our precious freedoms!

The citizens of Georgia finally had their "We're Not Gonna Take It" moment and sent a message to Donald Trump and that wing of the Repugnican Party. It is now up to them whether they will listen (quite unlikely in my opinion).

The telling part of this vote is that the 3rd party voters from the general election either stayed home or went almost exclusively for Warnock. Even more telling is that the Lt. Gov. of Georgia who is a staunch conservative submitted a blank ballot. He said, Warnock had not earned his vote, but Walker had not either.

We can hope this becomes a trend.
