Though the GOP and MAGA have every reason for confidence in the American people. Why, we’ve even been convinced to think of ourselves as consumers much more than producers.

That is one hell of a good question. I really don't know.

I may be wrong, but I don't think it was this widely terrible when I was growing up.

I mean, I think laziness has something to do with it.

Going to a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Unitarian Church, followed by a panel discussion on democracy with Peter Baker, and Susan Glasser. I’m reading Ocean Vuong’s The Emperor of Gladness— and I highly recommend it. Today we rest, tomorrow we resume the fight. Swords Up.
