You nailed it! The DO HARM Congress is directly contributing to the world’s devolving into war, famine, disease et al! Then we have Arizona, as my grandmother said “time to take the gas pipe”….
Waste of time. The do-nothing Congress just keeps shuffling along. Pass the immigration bill, pass the aide packages for our foreign allies, how about stronger background checks for guns. Do something meaningful.
Meanwhile, conservative media/social media is spewing lies and blaming all the disfunction on the Democrats. I feel like we are trapped in an echo chamber while republican voters are influenced by authoritarian influenced propaganda and gaslighting. I don't know how to break through to the republican voters without the help of decent Republican legislators (Adam Kinzinger types) who truly care about our country. It's so darn frustrating to see our country crumble to this point!
I think the beginning of the end was some decades ago when NBC merged the News department with the Entertainment department. Red states elect their senators and representatives purely for their entertainment value, and they sure are getting their money's worth, I guess.

A motion to adjourn till they read their Constitutions?! Didn't they swear to uphold it when they signed on at the outset of their service? What shameful "service" has it all become for these Republikkkans! (Or however it is that it is spelled when using k's instead of c!)
