Kari Lame sent the letter October 28

Liz Cheney waited until it was announced that Katie Hobbs won in Arizona before she sent a two word responses

BTC's assessment is spot on. We need to keep that albatross around Trump's neck. The Repugnican party has not learned to wash the stink of Trump from their bodies. Politicians like Graham, McCarthy, Gosar, Gohmert, and many others wear that sink like a badge of freedom.

To paraphrase actor Bill Pullman in his role as President Whitmore in the movie "Independence Day," "...Gentlemen (and ladies), let's plow the road..."

I think those of us on social media must re-double our efforts to disprove crap. I'm on it...

The only problem what will Facebook and other social media outlets think of users doing "fact checking" when they themselves say they will not do fact checking.

It's a huge and ridiculous job. We talked about this in my class this morning.

The defeat of Cruella DeLake was one of the best results of the 2022 midterm election. Hopefully she will be a pimple of a footnote in American history.

I wasn't aware of the nasty letter to Liz Cheney. That awful Kari Lake is like a female version of Trump. Neither will never take responsibility for their actions and shift blame to anyone not completely loyal to them. They will distort & lie about the past to give themselves credit for doing something magnificent that only they could do. Thank goodness Lake was defeated. People like that can't be goven more power. Good point to use this as a teaching moment! The public (especially Republicans) needs to get better at understanding the dangers of electing narcissistic sociopaths. They need to get better at identifying the red flags and not be lured into their lies. Refusing to take responsibility and not accepting defeat or ever being able to be gracious in defeat as you described - red flags. Our future voter kids and voting adults need to know these people should not be in charge of anything that's important. They should know what character traits to look for in a good leader. Being a bully is certainly not one of them. America would be better off if we could at least all share a common view of what is good and decent, and that being gracious is an admirable trait. (vs a sign of weakness) I wonder what the list of most admired character traits look like for the average Democrat, Republican, & Trump Supporter. I would guess they value different things.

Teachable moments, all of it. I don't care if Trump is in his sweaty suit or a slim-fit dress, it's still unacceptable behavior.

Right. I never thought it would be so hard for some people I know to admit that it's unacceptable enough to not vote for the Trumpian-people. (I hear the usual GOP reasons to excuse it - inflation, crime, gas prices...)

An actual question from a psychology exam. Name changed……..well, because.

Kari lost the race to be prom queen. She has been irritable with and yelling at her friends for the past week? What is this ? Displacement, denial, rationalization, repression?

Denial? Did I win?

Trick question. In denial that she’s a loser, She displaces her anger onto the “deep state”, RINO election officials etc., repressing her anger with the voters for not loving her enough and rationalizes her feelings by preening in front of the mirror and saying “no way people said no to all this”.

I think we have to thank Arizona voters, people who read, think, check facts and live in reality for voting Katie Hobbs in as Governor. I think anyone who thinks for themselves and has the aforementioned as part of their daily lives sees right through K. Lake. You don't even need to have taken Psych 101 let alone have a degree in psychology to see that K. Lake, Trump, Graham, and so many more including but not limitedd to all the Jan 6th insurrectionists and supporters of same suffer from severe malignant narcissism, delusions and are sociopaths. You wouldn't want someone like this to check you out at the grocery store let alone be in any position of power ESPECIALLY POTUS.

For one thing, I feared for US citizens safety each and every day Trumpo was in the White house - hoping and praying that someone was putting fake codes in the Nuclear Football. Perhaps I should have feared those lying, self centered people he appointed to the Supreme Court more than the nuclear codes.

And finally, let us not have Trumpo in any position of power, anywhere, ever again. Please, please, please VOTE VOTE VOTE. I am convinced there are more sane people who vote. And I know there are more women voters and the greatest percentage of them consider their vote a weighty responsibility and see the outcome of voting for someone who is sane, reads and has a spine --- like my hero Liz Cheney.

I really do think Trump's announcing will be the death of the GOP. I don't take great pleasure in it because these last few years have been ugly and the party needs to pass on to a better place.
