When people talk about the importance of shunning social media if it can't be shut down, because of the Nazis and White supremacists and cruelties and death threats*, I think about all the connections and reassurances and information shared by people who want to build, ar building a more equitable and sustainable society and world.
And God bless you and your discourse policy. Which are important as communication to silent onlookers, to testify to honesty and kindness and good though sometimes ferocious manners.
* Which are really there, and online recruiting for which is very worrisome.
After that exchange (which is ongoing, though I'm mostly just monitoring it to weed out the dumb asses), I am reassured that there are plenty of the righteous out there. My husband suggested visiting a particular Facebook page of "Moms for Liberty," or some such nonsense. I weighed in, but I was far from the only one. That gives me hope.
Re "Ohio has a new Don’t Say Gay bill that is even more draconian that Florida’s": I'm blessed if I know why this typo appears so frequently. If even YOU are succumbing to it, I've gotta think that Wordpress, Microsoft Word, et alia think it's correct. It isn't.
There are so many of us that support and fight for equality. I belong to a group called Serendipitydodah home of the momma bears for parents of LGBTQ children/adults. Thank you Susan, for all you do. ❤️

Funny how my generation grew up reading about about nothing but heterosexual people, and yet some still turned out gay.
Not did any of my son’s generation become a hungry, hungry caterpillar.
Only recently have I begun contemplating needing to retire to a different country.
