I see many vehicles displaying FJB decals along with AR15 decals…..oh and these vehicles have “In God We Trust” stamped onto their SC license plates! WWJD!?
This is not off-topic because it's interesting, but I'd have to put some feelers out to friends out there. I don't have any contacts there but if I know someone out there, I'll gladly share.
I am a little slow, and it wasn't until a little more than a decade ago, when Colorado GOP were running three economically destructive initiatives on the ballot, that it occurred to me that a lot of the party policy is focused on is wasting the energies of Democrats and other liberals and lefties by threatening stuff they don't care about but wouldn't mind having pass. Along of course with the hanging-up of Congress, government, and governability, attacks on public servants who aren't theirs, spreading give-up-now "expert opinions," and the incessant lying which I think is aimed partly at exhausting us, as well as funking up the information space and the Overton window.
It is sad that these people are entrusted with making decisions on how our government will govern. To proudly wear a pin that is a weapon used in mass shootings – is outrageous. Vote them out in 2024.
Political party aside, it triggers me, a mother and nurse who worked in a children's hospital & public schools for years to see a US Representative sporting a rifle lapel pin and trumpeting the right to bear arms. Let him come to Newtown CT or Uvalde TX and speak with parents of current and deceased school children.
He owns a large gun store Clyde’s Armory in GA that sells a variety of firearms including AR15’s, M1’s and other military style weapons. He personally earned well over a million dollars from the store in 2020. The NRA that contributed to his political campaign is probably glad to have him as their mouthpiece on Capitol Hill. I have zero respect for this person who was triggered by and barred the door against insurrectionists on Jan 6th only to later call them “tourists”.
The choice of words, said in a quiet mocking tone - and handing out as decoration, a weapon of mass destruction literally has me speechless. Mad. And sad. This is insane. Unforgivable. And so, so dangerous.
That's the way it usually DOES work, I think. So I wonder if any of these yahoos will wake up one morning and think, "Goddammit, I've been an ass," or will they just keep on keeping on, being an ass.
Nah, they will ride this message to hell! Ain’t they so cute, their little pins! Honestly, are we at the frickin’ OK Coral? A bunch of Earps? P. U. S. S. Ys. IMHO!

Jesus would slap the shit out of them. That's just me talking.
More like what would June do????
So someone from the party that feels the need to bring guns into committee meetings is claiming that the other side is triggered???
I can only assume that the need for guns is because they lack a command of the English language and their debating skills are pedestrian at best
Precisely.
I hope you don’t mind me going off topic but I was talking to a former town historian from LeRoy New York on Facebook yesterday
During our chat she mentioned that she wrote an article about a black semipro team from LeRoy a couple years ago
She interviewed me last surviving member of the team and he gifted the historical society a bat and his uniform as well as newspaper clippings
It was when she started to read some of the articles that she discovered “ the rest of the story “
It was a softball team
She tried to contact the USA Softball Hall of Fame to see if they might be interested in the story to no avail
She then reached out to the Baseball Hall of Fame but they declined because it was a softball team and not baseball
She also said that the historical society didn’t seem very interested either
I suggested she try to contact the Negro League Hall of Fame which is in your home state in Kansas City
I was wondering if you might know someone that might be interested in it??

Her name is Lynne Belluscio
When I asked her if she tried to contact the NLHF she said no , but she was going to dig through her files
Gee, I wonder why none of them are interested. Let me think....
It seems to be very important to today's Republicans and further-righties to feel that they've annoyed or distressed Dems and lefties.
The United States: electing whiny perseverant kid brothers and snickering.
As if this process of annoying/distressing is an important part of the process...

And exhausting it is.
We need grips like badgers.

It's sunk below schoolyard taunts. This is embedded into their party ethos.
In his little video Rep.Clyde decided not to mention he’s a gun store owner and that he profits from the sale of high-capacity, automatic weapons.

Ooooh, I did not know this. Thank you, Paul.

It makes no sense. None. It's something that, to me, marks the wearers as complete idiots.
We are TRIGGERED?
