From the video, it looks like a planned implosion. Are there any suspicions of intenional detonation - terrorism? This is so tragic, whatever the cause.
I started to look up by way of comparison what Florida’s building codes are to other states’ but that’s a whole other post. I DO know that those floating decks on Florida’s beach condos are pretty flimsy. Seaside, the rebar corrodes faster than you might think, depending on the kind of concrete used. This would make me leery of stepping out on any one of them. Or stepping INTO the condo in the first place.

Maybe similar to the concrete disaster of the foundations in a certain region of northern Connecticut.
