Every sunrise... every sunset,,, and everything in between.
Right now I'm grateful for friends like you who remind me to feel grateful, not only in the month of giving thanks, but every, every moment, like the saints and poets of Grover's Corners.
So I guess if I have to list just one thing that makes me feel grateful at this moment today, and with no intention of ruffling Frank's feathers, it'd be you, Susan.
My wife, especially over the past couple of years, during which I’ve frequently been put in mind of something Kurt Vonnegut said about his book “Mother Night”.
“It was going to be about the love my wife and I had for each other. It was going to show how a pair of lovers in a world gone mad could survive by being loyal only to a nation composed of themselves–a nation of two.”-K.V.
We’re not quite as insular as the quote suggests but it sure has felt that way at times. I’m a lucky man.
If you hear the rain wondering where to go, please send it my way, to Colorado east of the Rockies? (I'm assuming you're on the same side. If not, well, it would take too much effort for the rain to get here, and plenty of places on that side could use the rain.)
My very small family and very large circle of friends who surround me with love, compassion, hope and forgiveness. I only want to live up to their graciousness.

Is somewhere else besides Hamden High School producing Our Town this year?
People who made me laugh so hard I cried: Robin Williams & George Carlin
Ah...
I am grateful for my five senses. There are times when things may irritate me but having them is a blessing that I can’t imagine doing without.

And music.
I'm grateful for rain. We're getting some here today.

I'm in central Florida, but will try. -:)
Oooooh, a long journey! Thank you for your effort! Of course, I know how much the rain likes to stay in Florida.
I am in central Florida as well, for another day, and we're getting hammered here.
I'm grateful to live in a world that has birds in it.
Also grateful to live in a state where women still have bodily autonomy and the vote.
Plumbing. Always.
But that's only my second-favorite invention. Tied for first (and perhaps not inventions but divine gifts) are writing and repentance.
Man, I wish repentance were more popular.
Most interesting choices, ever. I need to think about repentance...
Good people: Family, friends, strangers who are friends for a few minutes. That's #1.
My son, Joe- the light of my life!

This is poetic. Thank you.
my wife
That is awesome. I hope she sees this.
Oh! I will hope for gentle landings for both.
