Love the assignment! And like Martha said, no one likes a poor sport. Acknowledging losing is something that is not often taught anymore. There’s always an excuse or reason.

That's a great assignment! It's a bit beyond the purview of my Media Literacy class and our "Media & Politics" unit, but I'm going to share the idea with my colleague who teaches Speech and Debate. Very cool!

It's really made them think about the entire process, and not just the messaging and framing. We're going to switch to ad campaigns, right after we look again at social media (can't teach enough about social media). Steal away!

My students just turned in their original political ads after we studied the history of political advertising. And yes, you truly cannot teach enough about social media!
