So on a sultry Sunday summer afternoon, the "special" committee meeting releases their report. Then they take questions most of us cannot hear but it is meaningless as they provide NO answers. The Texas governor, "Ironsides", a promoter of MORE guns has shown not only ineptitude but a callous disregard for the victims and families of the slaughter! Oh and the Texas AG who is more interested in prosecuting women for seeking health care options than cops who stood by while kids were being shot is among the most despicable character in a cadre of despicable's in that sorry state! Beyond shameful!!
All this. I sat waiting for the press conference and was disheartened when the conversation started off with locked doors. And the timing? On a Sunday? Did they expect news organizations to be thin that day? I feel for those parents. This kind of crap just re-traumatizes them. And for what? For. What?
