You should know you are an idiot and f’ed up royally when the local newspaper article draws similarities to you and Rep. Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

See, that would tell ME that I have slipped far, far from righteousness, but for SOME of these chinless turds, that's a compliment.

Sigh. And, in related news from the "drank too much cuckoo juice" crowd, did you see that a Texas lawmaker is saying that teachers who teach about the Holocaust should be providing "opposing views"? About the Holocaust. Opposing views. About the Holocaust.

I saw that and I am trying to imagine precisely how that would read. I mean, how does one justify the Holocaust, or treat a Nazi fairly? Years ago, I told myself it is perfectly acceptable to punch a Nazi, no questions asked. Now I have to hear justifications?

Is it any surprise her district currently has one of the highest rates of transmission in the state?

Newsflash, people murdered by the Nazis didn’t get die from they’re own ignorance that was reinforced by their elected leaders.

Excellent point, as usual. There once was an online drinking game. When any one invoked the name "Hitler," we all drank. We'd all be swimming through our own vomit at this point. You're welcome for the imagery.

Thank you for this column....somebody should remind Dauphinais and her 'Insurrectionist Party' comrades of the Charlottesville neo-Nazi torch march where those marching shouted "Jews shall not replace us"....the state Insurrectionist Party chair commenting in a recent news article said nobody should be comparing anybody to the Nazi's - he too needs a Charlottesville refresher...sadly my city, Bristol, has 3 of 4 of our elected members of the CGA who are allied with Dauphinais....we must all stand up for freedom and remind the ignorant that the greatest generation saved the world from Nazism and Fascism!

I notice she has "references" for the Nazi accusations, but no references for her assertions that children have a statistically zero % chance of dying and are "minimal spreaders." Yeah? Tell that to the parents of children who died or are filling up pediatric ICUs across the country. All nurses are not alike, as it turns out. Some of them got into the business just to be able to wear the sexy costume and find a husband, either a doctor or a patient.

I do not know this woman but from her social media footprint, I have to conclude she’s challenged with science and logic.

Let's remember, most nurses today follow evidence based practices. Those that don't are not following what's taught. Also, many nursing positions require a four year, BSN, because nursing has evolved to be a lot more technical and scientific than it was a generation or so ago. There are levels of nursing and they align with scope of practice: LPN (associate degree), RN (some remaining associate degree, more bachelor degree programs now), APRN (master's degree or doctorate degree). They require different amounts of education. RNs do more than LPNs, like assess and APRNs do more than RNs. And RNs with BSN degrees are more highly trained than RNs with Associate degrees. "Nurse" encompasses a wide range of educations, roles and skills. Your last sentence is problematic. For one, nurses are not all female. And, there are some in every profession who are not there to do their jobs. Just saying.

Of course. Not all nurses. And this woman only claims to be a nurse, without specifying what degree she holds. Maybe she was a candy striper when she was in high school, who knows?

I probably shouldn't have bothered, but I went over and reminded the idiot that she is an idiot for saying what she did. And, people on a public health committee should at least be aligned with the academic public health community! What a loser!

I don’t know that you should t have bothered. I did the same. She can frame my comments however she wants but she cannot erase this stain she put on her reputation without an apology and a long, fruitful time in the shed.

I keep reminding myself, for every one idiot in office like her, there are the many who voted her in. That's so disturbing.

Also...How the heck did someone who doesn't understand public health get on the state's Public Health Committee?

Wow! That's a stretch to claim 25 years in health care! Pharmaceutical sales is not the same as health care, and she has no public health background.

Don’t sell her background short. I hear she’s setting up an Invermectin stand on her front lawn.

Just kidding! You see, this is how rumors start. Shame on me.

Ha! And yet if she did do that, it wouldn't be surprising!

It's really interesting, once you start delving into someone's bio, isn't it? I could say I went to Harvard -- which I've driven through, so that counts, right?
