So we’re nearly done with a busy week, and I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude (which I forget to think about most other times, so please don’t think I’m all self-actualized or anything).
Today, I’m thankful for family. I support others who choose not to have children or get married and move through life however that works for them, but I do not know where (or who) I’d be without my family.
This morning I’m grateful for the rain. It matches my black clothes just fine! And like you, I’m grateful for my family, few though I have by some standard somewhere, and the friends who are as family to us as family can be!

I'm grateful for the many activist communities who work to make things better for others. I'm grateful for Lee and Bernice Cohen, my parents. I'm grateful for my friends.
I laughed out loud. As I was reading your list, I thought the same thing of myself. God, but I love my husband. He is creative and strong and funny and annoying AF. Then there are my girlfriends, for whom I'd take a bullet, collectively or one at a time. And yes, that order changes.
I'm grateful for the reminder that in the midst of some awful things, gratitude can also sit along side. I'm grateful for the wonderful people in my life, both family and friends.
I’ve always thought that the point of self-actualization was not so much to achieve a state of being but to be conscious of the fact that you’re a work in progress. That’s one of the reasons I’m grateful for music because I can always get better.
Oh, and family, friends, you folks, my community, all that good stuff.
I’m grateful for my family, my friends, my pets, my general health and mind, sunshine ( on the rare days we have it!) and your column where we can share our thoughts and feelings. ❤️
Oh, so much. To round up myriad things, but not all the things, in one-- I'm intensely grateful for the profound, pervasive, delicate and perilous web of interaction and community that connects all of us humans and non-human creatures and minerals and gases into a body that is this planet, which is a part of the huger body that is the universe we know (and fail to know).
It's a book of essays and I got slowed down by the repetition in some of the essays, but once you settle into this story-telling style, it's pretty awesome.
This week, and every week, I'm thankful that Joe Biden is our president.
Absolutely.

Thankful that our first born is out of Florida and begins his new job here Monday…..with out family he’d be living on the street🙏
Oh, I hope my daughter, an awesome nurse, brings up here my three granddaughters! Wish us luck!

Excellent list including one group I hadn't thought of: Activists. Absolutely!
I’m grateful for my health, and even though I’m past 70, I’m grateful that I still have my mind (mostly)!
Ha. Mostly!
I’m thankful for my wife, my friends and my dog ...depending on the day that order may change!

MWAH. Big interwebs kiss to you.
Grateful for my family, my health (and of course my family's health) and friendships that I have made over the years.
Amen.

I think about this, especially in light of rereading "Braiding Sweetgrass," as a root system that relies on every single tendril.
Wow, it's hot stuff in all three of the library systems I use regularly, both the initial and youth versions, all formats.
I should obviously read Braiding Sweetgrass.

I'm grateful for my family, too, especially my husband, whose birthday is today! We're celebrating!
Happy birthday from the staff here at Super-Probably Relevant Content!
