I volunteered to be a poll worker, but I didn't get asked. Maybe next year.
Instead, I stood outside for 4 hours with my "Vote Yes on Early Voting" sign.
The line was out the door at my polling place, partly due to a redistricting in my town, but partly due to a large turnout. I'm told there are about 4,000 eligible voters in my district, and by 9 a.m. the counter on the tabulating machine was over 300, it looks like turnout will be pretty good.
Amen
And thank you for your service.
It is a privilege to be here.
Voting is such a privilege. Our freedom to vote is a privilege. Voting to ensure our freedom is more than a privilege --- it's a must. Yes!! I voted.

These are not midterm numbers in my town, either. There are short lines. Unheard of.
Excellent. So it really is turnout.
Voted. Next up: continuing to exhort others to vote and help yet more others to vote.
Thank you for taking the risks involved in staffing the polls!
Nah, no risk here. I’m simply helping the wheels of democracy turn. No risk.
Exposure to COVID, RSV, flu, stupidity...many risks. Thanks!
Worth it.
