After some health setbacks, Pres. Jimmy Carter, 98, announced that he would receive hospice care, at home, with his family. The 2002 Nobel Peace Prize winner, the standard for all evangelicals, everywhere, has enjoyed an incredibly full life since leaving the White House in 1981.
Once Pres. Carter steps into eternity, I’m not convinced we will see his like again. Glory to him, blessings to his wife, Roslyn. Speaking as a fellow evangelical, I found his principled stand on the issues to be completely in line with what I read in my Bible. That is astounding, considering the misinterpretations and outright lies that pass for evangelicalism in the public life today.
For a well-written summation of all that Pres. Carter has been to us, read this.
He certainly has seemed to have lived a life worthy of his initials
I remember his campaign visit to Hartford. He spoke in front of the Civic Center at the Pratt Street entrance. He embodies true Christian values and lives The Beatitudes…..Godspeed President Carter🙏
