In the 90s, the Court held that the 35 foot non-protest barriers on public property around women's health clinics was an infringement of free speech. As we say on the playground: Fair one all.

Susan thanks for the column and BTW do you like beer, asking for Brett?:))

I actually don't like beer. I drink very little alcoholic beverages because I appreciate so much the minimal inhibitions I possess. I -- and the world -- would miss them when they're gone.

You’re right. A protest march is nothing more than a parade. We must go where it’s disruptive. The more disruptive, the better. Can we keep the justices from doing their job? Go for it and go hard for it. Not only the justices, but at this point, I say go for the senate members who are failing to protect women’s rights. Disrupt their lives! House members too. Disrupt their lives! Stand in their driveways. Stand in the hallways of the house and senate, if you can get in. Stand in their home offices when they’re home. Get in their way any way possible. Deny them freedom of movement like they have denied women their freedom of movement by forcing a pregnancy on them. This is obscene and untenable. Make their lives untenable. No threats, no violence, just disruption. Thanks for the article.

That's it. And some people's privacy is more equal than other's.

This is a start but I hope there is another Women's March organized around the country. Protesting is our right.

Now, here are the rules, say the civility cops:

You mustn't petition the powerful for redress of the conditions they have created under any circumstances they do not choose, have not crafted and structured, do not control.

They get to endorse others screaming in your face, tut-tut about the burden on those screamers of having to shriek and threaten from beyond chalk boundaries.

They get to crawl into your uterus.

They forget that little portion of the First Amendment. Standing outside someone's home protesting? Protected. Kee-rist, I wish these people could read.

And now this, chalking the sidewalk outside Susan Collins home. She called the cops. The perpetrators are facing a warrant for “intentionally troubling” the Senator and committing an “act of bothersomeness”. Send them to Gitmo!
