I was watching “The Silence Of The Lambs” last night with my son and observing how much I’d missed in countless previous watchings when it struck me that this time I was watching through his eyes, seeing all the subtle (and not so subtle) messages and misdirection created by the editor (my son’s chosen profession.

Your brother’s message coming from his heart and their pulpit will surely move his parishioners as they see this through his eyes whose focus has surely been affected by the love of his siblings. So while we need the Dans to shepherd their flock, both we and they are indebted to the Susans for their work, wit and wisdom.

This was all Dan's. I don't think we spent much time talking about vaccinations when I was out there. A little, but I give total credit to him.

The Trumpublicans are working hard to rewrite the script and blame Biden and the left for “politicizing” the vaccine and causing hesitancy and resistance. To be clear, it’s only political for the fools that refuse to get the shot. For the rest of us it’s a medical decision based on science.

We can hope that people will listen. It continues to puzzle me why people will choose illness over vaccination. Maybe when enough unvaccinated people die it will cause a seismic shift.

I'm hoping some really smart science writer writes a book explaining the decision-making process that goes into ignoring science.

Amen to that! Good job, brother Dan! I'm amazed that people deny reality and the urging of healthcare workers. It's stunning to me that some people can have faith in a religion that has no current-times, tangible proof, and yet reject today's reality of the virus, medical advice and infectious disease science that has been proven over and over in current times. It makes me wonder about what faith is for some. If it's not based in reality, what does that say about their religion?

Thank you. My mother used to line us up frequently on Sunday mornings as it was the only time of the week when we were clean and pressed.
