Haakim Jeffries wasn't even on my radar until he became top Dem in the house after Pelosi. I like his style.

Katie Porter! She knows her stuff, is always prepared, doesn’t let bullshit slide by as an acceptable answer to a question and really works for all of us.

Katie Porter Always seems like she has done her homework when she is speaking and comes with the facts to back up her words

And props to Connecticut rep Rosa DeLauro

In the past month I’ve seen her school Bimbobert and Trailer Park Gangrene in glorious fashion

I love Rosa. She's not my Rep but I'm proud that she's part of our CT Congressional delegation.

This from Professor Richardson's Substack post today: Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI) made a key point “We have not passed an emergency supplemental, a Farm Bill, or regular Appropriations,” he said. So the party of Putin/Trump that holds the majority in the House voted unanimously to open an impeachment inquiry on President Biden! There are NO Kinzinger's left to speak reason to the Putinista majority that is hell bent on bringing down our democracy! They will now adjourn without passing the BIG items Senator Schatz noted!

And perennials: Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Elizabeth Warren, Rashida Tlaib, Jamal Bowman, and probably others. (I'm not very good at thinking in or of lists.)

Liz Cheney - I just got her book and, of course, am seeing her interviewed a lot lately as she's promoting it. Her appearance w/ Stephen Colbert was interesting. It was not a softball interview like most of the ones I've seen. On my side of the aisle I'm watching Gavin Newsome and Andy Beshear.

I read Adam Kinzinger's book -- pretty interesting. Maybe I should add Ms. Cheney's to my list. (Right now, I'm listening to Eric Idle's autobiography; it's surprisingingly sweet.)

I watched the interview too and found myself longing for the days of Republicans being more rational.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas)... she's a bit of a mudslinger, however, said mudslinging is done in an intelligent fashion and she brings receipts.

Jerry Nadler, Jamie Raskin, Ted Lieu (though I’m annoyed with him for voting with Republicans to fire university presidents).
