It sickens me that a public health crisis has become politicized. Vaccine passports? I had one when I was 9 years old. BFD... Get your damn shot. I was hesitant leading up to the roll out, but when I think of the things I've consumed (legal and not legal) and have lived to talk about it...

That would be a good ad campaign: We are here because of the shot.

Totally agree with you, again! I was just saying the same thing to my husband last night.

Either we mandate or the anti-Vaxers/Republicans will face a population drop!

A population drop they will eagerly and infectiously share.

Unfortunately, in many states, all you have to do to enroll generally unvaccinated children in public schools is to sign a form saying that not vaccinating your child is your religious choice.

That's a good point. I went in the tweaked that. I'd forgotten, in my ire, about religious and philosophical exemptions from vaccines. Speaking as a reasonably-religious-type, I don't agree with those, either, allowing people to skip vaccines. God made science, brothers and sisters.

CT just got rid of religious exemptions for vaccines for public school children. I think we were only the 6th state to do so. 😒

Can private employers insist on employee vaccinations, or is that a violation of some health privacy law?

Yeah, just let someone demand to turn their lawn to mini-prairie on religious or ethical grounds and see whether that staves off code enforcement....

There’s been an increasing number of reports of hoaxers and anti-vaxxers getting Covid, some dying. A few weeks ago I lost a distant, reportedly unvaccinated, relative to the virus. Early on there were stories of people calling their caregivers liars when they were told they had Covid. During a recent routine medical appointment I heard a story of people calling their doctor saying they had flu symptoms, saying they wanted to be treated but that they didn’t want to be tested for Covid.

It’s time to put an end to the MAGA suicide mission. There is no right to infect others.

I couldn't agree more. My campus is not making it mandatory and I just can't understand it.
