There are some people who aren't getting vaccinated because they're more afraid of the vaccine than COVID, which makes no sense when you compare the public harm on the two sides. A little misinformation & fear can go a long way and becomes the very thing they fear - mind & behavior control! And nothing takes freedom away more than dying (from COVID)!
I am vaccinated because I want to protect myself, because I want to protect those around me, because I understand that I am part of a wider community and have a responsibility to do my part.
I am vaccinated because I'm a father, husband, teacher, and soon-to-be grandfather who believes in science and knows it's the absolutely most responsible thing I could do right now for everybody in my life.
I am vaccinated because I believe in science and I want to be able to kiss my husband and hug my adult kids and live many more years. I have a bucket list and plans and this virus ain’t gonna get in my way!
I am vaccinated because I love to breathe. And okay, I care about other people, too. And because my father was a microbiologist who dedicated his life to working in public health.
I am vaccinated because I want to be able to hug my mother without fear for her health. I am vaccinated because I want my daughter to grow up having faith in science and humanity, and because I want her to be able to go back to school. I am vaccinated because it's not solely about me.
I am vaccinated because I believe in science; because I care about others; because I see myself as part of this world; because I know that I am my sisters' and brothers' keeper.
I am vaccinated because I am not an idiot.
Cut straight to the chase...
I am vaccinated because vaccinations save lives and keep us from overburdening hospitals.
I saw this recently:
"So...you've been eating hotdogs and McChickens all your life, but don't want the vaccine because you don't know what's in it?"
Well spoken.

A little misinformation has gone a loooong way here.
I am vaccinated because I wanted to shorten the list of things that could kill me as well as the list of ways I could kill others.
Plus I was told the the chip would allow me to control my lights and thermostat with my mind but that turned out to be fake news.
Well done, sir. As always.
I am vaccinated because I am part of the national immune system and I don't want to let my wide and wonderful body down.
What a great way to put it.
I am vaccinated because I don't want to host and arm a disease that harms and kills my neighbors, near and far.
I believe we have acertain responsibilies to humanity. Not spreading disease is one of them.
Kind of a basic...
Yes, too bad some people don't understand the a basic for being on the planet.
That we're all in this together? Imagine how the world would look if we all lived like that.
I am vaccinated because I want to protect myself, because I want to protect those around me, because I understand that I am part of a wider community and have a responsibility to do my part.
I don't want to die just yet.
I forgot that one.
:)
I listen.
I am vaccinated because I'm a father, husband, teacher, and soon-to-be grandfather who believes in science and knows it's the absolutely most responsible thing I could do right now for everybody in my life.
Amen.
I am vaccinated because I run a home for seniors!

Go, you!
I am vaccinated because I love to breathe. And okay, I care about other people, too. And because my father was a microbiologist who dedicated his life to working in public health.
Thank you to your father.

A vaccine allows such a freedom of movement. We just had dear friends over last night (looking at you, Jac) and it was so wonderful to hug them.
And it was wonderful to hug back! I really missed hugging my favorite people (looking at you SC)!
I am vaccinated because I do not want to live in fear.
Amen.

The interesting thing is the whole idea of community doesn’t seem to comment up that much in discussions. I mean: Come ON.
I'm vaccinated because the last thing I want to do is harm anyone and as a responsible citizen, it is my duty to do so.
I am vaccinated because I wanted to become magnetic
Shoot! I got the vaccine thinking I WOULD be magnetic! It was going to be my new superpower.

And it would be a great way to find your keys.
