Chancellor Scholz is so measured and specific in his speech, it’s a pleasure to listen to him. No bloviating, boasting, lying or denegrating. What a breath of fresh air! Even when he criticized the shillbilly, the digs were so understated as he got his point across. I wonder if there’s a way we can listen to German news in this country?

I pray to God that he gets reelected in the next election!

German was my foreign language in college but even this is beyond me: https://www.newsinslowgerman.com/. If you mean German news delivered in English, I would just set an alert for German news on my search engine.

And now, my sistren and brethren and sibren, let me say a word for the glories of spontaneous combustion.

(I have been decried in the past for my socking wicked violence when I’ve mentioned rarely of rare occasions that sometimes I think, “Well, anyway, sooner or that guy will be dead. Might be now and I just haven’t heard it yet.”)

That is poetic and much more elegant than "shit the bed."

What an intelligent and well spoken leader! One I could listen to all day. And note that he accepts the loss of hair on his head, a physical sign of greatness.

‘Shit the bed in public’ might be a tad impolite, but its very graphic nature suits the occasion. I read the viper’s book & the end just flabbergasted me. Haven’t liked him since then which is when I first heard of him. Same?

I hated his fraudulent book and thought I was the only hillbilly who did.

The ADL needs a new spokesmodel if the best they can do is "deeply concerning" in regard to the neo-Nazi Vance spouting lies about censorship in the place when the most ghastly crime in history was committed against Jews, Roma, the disabled, homosexuals and anyone else who the perverts in the Nazi hierarchy decided were not worthy of existing.

Replace "deeply concerning" with "hideously insane and horrifying."

I just watched JFK’s famous “Ich bien ein Berliner” speech and urge you all to do the same just as a reminder of what a true statesman looks like. Tens of thousands of German citizens enthralled by the presence of an American President in their ‘walled’ city! Share it all over social media and contrast it to the m’fer VP over there pandering to neo-Nazis! The contrast is beyond startling!

I couldn’t believe what I was reading — Vance’s remarks were just awful. But then I read that Elon hosted an interview on X with the AfD candidate running for chancellor late last year. That explains all.

It was also noted that essentially no one applauded Vance, despite a culture of politeness that generally characterizes these gatherings. Applause was thunderous for Scholz.
