Heather Cox Richardson. Every post has a listing of her sources. She provides historical context that explain why her topics are chosen. She is clear and upfront when she has a bias. Usually.

In no particular order: NPR/PBS, NYT, The Guardian, WSJ when they piss off Trump (If it's free. It’s a dynamic paywall, it varies the number of articles. Makes me feel like I’m putting one over on Rupert), BBC, The Economist, Wonkette, Heather Cox Richardson, Robert Reich, CNN, MSNBC, The Nation. The Hill. Not all everyday of course. I find streaming English language newscasts from around the world interesting. I grew up with a short wave receiver my grandparents gave me and lost a lot of sleep logging broadcasts from around the world with my ear to the speaker so I didn’t wake my parents. Nighttime was best for reception. The internet has expanded the possibilities exponentially.

Thanks! I lost faith in CNN with all the Tapper crap. I will still look at occasional stories from the "Big 3" networks (I exclude Fox) and for world stuff I use BBC and Sky.

BTW - I’m waiting for someone in the media to address the fact that King Charles III will be forced to entertain the Epstein fellow traveler Trump while having removed his brother Prince Andrew, another Epstein fellow traveler, from public life and royal functions due to his total disgust at his brother’s criminal behavior.

I am relying on the UK citizens to make any public appearances of Trump miserable and to display the balloons they used on the prior visit and signs and jeers to show their disdain for him. Fortunately the visit will occur when Parliament isn’t in session so that chamber won’t be desecrated by his presence or God forbid one of rant-speeches. Starmer was a fool to rush that invitation for a state visit.

Starmer seems to be a fool on many grounds, and in ways that leave me flabbergasted.

I'm an American in Yorkshire, but I'm afraid I'm not going to take the train down to London to try and add my mort to Trump's misery.

I hope that the misery presented to Trump is very substantial.

same but add PBS Newshour, WSJ(except the "funny" pages- Ie the ones near the cartoon), Atlantic, East penn press, out local Town Tribune. Hearst 's News Times. HCR, Russell Razzaque, Colbert , Kimmel and random Youtube videos, with at least ONE "Trump supporter said this" video each day. for a little extra shadenfreude

NPR is my primary. I wade through the morass that is the MSM with a sprinkling of Meidas Touch, Heather Cox Richardson, Dr. Stacey (or is it Stacy?) Patton, who can "read" someone like no one's business, and random blogs that I come across. And then say, WTF?

BBC just because it gives me a bigger view outside the US. Local news both print and TV, the New York Times. A select few from the news feed on my phone especially the Guardian, my favorite Substack writers which includes you, Ann Telnaes and Robert Reich. I so I don’t completely stay in darkness satire from The Borowitz Report and Letters from God for the satire mixed with fact.

They so often disappointment me with their both-sides-isms. Even though I am a classically trained journalist and I get it, that's what helped deliver Trump to us both the first and second times.

Susan et al,

Here are 4.

Here is a list of some journalist/investigative reporters/institutional experts I have followed, NONE. Are ever asked to be heard or quoted on any main stream media, OR Cable TV l. Even Boston Globe and NYTimes will not cover, do not have the time, to cover their information.

There are many others.

Peter Beinart of Jewish Currents and recent author Being Jewish After Gaza.

Breaking Points good on domestic and international.
