Watching the flag waving, Trump attired cultists in DeSantistan was depressing. Then hearing one of the talking heads refer to the louse’s plan as “Trump Force One” made me switch channels. I have named his plane “Con Air” for obvious reasons! Oh and Nicholas Cage had a much better ‘do’ in the movie than Don the Con!

Rather than going to the city today, I'm saving my energy to dance on his grave.

The thought never even crossed my mind. I do not want to share the same space and breathe the same air as those troglodytes. Somewhat interesting side note: A house in town has been sportin' DeSatan 2024 signs in their front yard. It's been about 6 weeks since I last drove by their house. I drove by last night, and the signs are gone.

Too many other things on my plate today to consider making the trip, but I will be following the action on Twitter.

Not for a second, however I may check out a downtown intersection that's a popular spot for demonstrations of all kinds. There has been rare MAGA gatherings there, mostly people from surrounding towns (I've asked). They come here because the cows are not interested.

Do they also know that no one else is interested? I'm kidding! I kid! God bless the First Amendment.

If I had an extra 5,000–sure I would have made it a vacation—see a few Broadway plays, eat at some of the most expensive restaurants and watch him on TV from my suite!

Would be a great time to be there, right?

I didn't. I think a confrontation among supporters is precisely what TFG is hoping for to further the insistence that he and his ilk are not the danger and to maintain all the bothsidesism we seem to hear/read all the time despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Playing into Lindesey Graham's hands after that racist tweet of his is the last thing I'd want to do. (Any mention of Graham's hands is, of course, a reference to figurative contact. euw.)

I think you're right. It would be hard to stand and be a witness and to do so quietly (at least for me). I'm going to watch from home.

Nope. Colorado is too far from Manhattan, and I am currently involved, Laocoon-like, in all-in wrestling with my son in the effort to get him to bring practically anything to completion while he treats me as his Villainous Enemy. In this epic struggle he is both my son, co-entwined in the snaky coils, and the serpent. https://imperiumest.eu/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/AdobeStock_407424200_Editorial_Use_Only-Copy-1024x772.jpeg

Looking at the “flightradar24”, I thought about printing it out, grabbing a sharpie and rerouting the plane to Moscow or China or North Korea……
