NATO, G7 and all of the other groups and alliances that include the US are going to have to move on without the US. If NATO has work to do that takes three days, they should go ahead. If Trump's attention span can't handle that, then he gets sidelined. Everyone everywhere needs to understand that President of the United States no longer equals Leader of the Free World. There is no leadership to be found here. They shouldn't worry about placating or accommodating until or unless he says he isn't up to a task and needs accommodations. Yes, be accommodating to someone who wants to show up and do the work--like don't make FDR walk up six flights of stairs--but if the problem is that DT is simply uninterested or unengaged, they should do what they have to do without him.

It feels as if he's riding that coattail -- leader of the free world -- and that's done. I agree with you entirely. If he can't do the work, move on without him.

I agree with you - "that President of the United States no longer equals Leader of the Free World." Unfortunately that fact has not reached the subject of your sentence. Nor is it understood by any of his inner circle who have heard it aloud or in their hearts. Oh. I forgot their physical hearts and minds are not connected to common sense or feelings for anyone other than DT and themselves.

I think fairly soon the world will start acting as if they understand Trump has helped us skip a few cogs down.

"The President's before him"....oh like Bush, Obama, Clinton and Biden who are largely silent as we are in the midst of a fascist takeover?!? Obama was at the Bushnell the other night and wouldn't say a bad word about Trump. These times require bravery in the face of fire, sitting in an easy chair on stage and acting aloof is NOT what we need Barack.....grow a freaking pair!!

If I had a child, it would frighten me to look at the photo of that little boy and realize that little boy grew up to be a sociopathic, narcissistic monster devoid of empathy, morals, decency, ethics, and the ability to love.

Hindsight is 20-20. But that child looks dim to me.

We simply cannot be trusted.

Recovery might have been possible if we now had President Kamala Harris. But.

I try not to dwell on what-ifs, but a post on social media I really like says, "If Harris had won, we'd all be having brunch."

Taco Trump puts a 2 week time frame on anything and everything then reverses, extends, eliminates. Lies. Lies. Lies. But what else is new from this convicted felon in chief.

And he signed an agreement with the UK at the G7 one that was ready for signature in May. Then he DROPPED THE PAPERS? And the only one who could/would pick up his stuff was the gentleman PM Keir Starmer? You are so right Susan - diapered convicted felon is the worst embarrassment we have had at any such meeting.

The next Real President we have has an enormous mountain to climb to restore our respect and honor. I am sure he will trip up and down the stairs again before Congress finds their gray matter with orange tire tracks and puts it in gear again to impeach diapered convicted felon to stop his daily treasonous acts. The letters to members of Congress continue to get mailed. And I am proud of the Governors and Attorneys General that are standing strong for the Constitution and our WHOLE population - immigrants and anyone who doesn't look orange.

He looked like a hideous little tyrant even as a wee one.
