His resignation speech was cringeworthy. I'm glad he finally pulled his head out of his ass and saw the light of day. And once Ronan Farrow gets involved, it's pretty much game over 'cuz he don't play.

That article laid everything out for people in the cheap seats. You’re right. He don’t play.

Thank you for pointing this out! I heard glimpses of the news conference on the report on MSNBC but will look for Farrow’s work. Also heard on an NPR show or podcast (or PBS?) yesterday that he was doing this while passing legislation to protect victims/survivors in the wake of Me Too. So he obvs knew better!

I had not heard that. Jaysus.

It’s somehow karmically correct that New York will now have it’s first female Governor.

I watched her today at a press conference. I like her already.

I fully agree, Susan. At least Nixon did the smart thing FINALLY when the Watergate Committee had him dead to rites. Cuomo deserves whatever is coming his way.

I'm sad to agree. But I agree.

ery sad that it had to come to this. Cuomo's daily briefings were my bright spot in the early dark days of the pandemic. I had my doubts about the accusations right up until Melissa DeRosa resigned. The Former Guy may be thinking this paves the way for a Republican to win the governorship in the next election, possibly a cultist who will make all the criminal charges against The Former Guy and his companies go away.

This is on Cuomo. He didn’t go out gracefully (so far) but you’re right. On tonguarding the office against a Trumpette. Better: On to getting the best candidates in the ballot.

New Yorkers as a whole are a smart bunch. I have faith they wouldn't allow anyone close to Trump lead their state.

I used to have that kind of faith. But it broke.

Maybe it's me being an ex-New Yorker, but on NY, my faith remains.

I feel the same way. In several important ways, those briefings got me through. I will always appreciate that.

What we feel is a shadow of the betrayal those women must have felt. It's the trick abusers pull.
