I had a jury summons for 4/15 and I was sad that I was going to miss the beginning of the first criminal trial of a former president, but Friday I was notified that I didn't have to report. So I followed along on Threads yesterday until I'd had enough, and went outside to enjoy the beautiful Spring weather, something that Donald Trump has never done and never will do.
Also the parentheses needs to be closed at "(I include this in case you’re ever on “Jeopardy” and this comes up in the “Famous Murdering Relatives” category."
Under the category of “sometimes you just have to laugh”, after Trump took a cat nap in the middle of all this, some wag referred to him as “Don Snoreleone, the Nodfather”. I’m convinced his lawyers slipped some Xanax into his Diet Coke.
I’ll bet he and/or his lawyers are going to come up with some phony reason as to why he can’t attend. They’re running out of delay tactics. Maybe Melania will fake a life-threatening disease in return for a renegotiated pre-nup.
I don't know how this man is a candidate for the presidency of the United States. Could not the Republican Party do better? I guess not this Republican Party; what it has become. It's quite shameful.
