Just a small example of the Trump Treasure Trove, stolen from the American people

Right-wing social media exploded when it was announced that about two months ago, roughly a dozen sensitive documents from the Obama era had been found in a former think tank office used by Pres. Joe Biden. Biden’s attorneys discovered the documents.

How is this different from the bloated grifter known as Trump waltzing out of the White House with boxes and boxes of classified material? Let’s compare, shall we?

The recently-in-the-news documents were found in a locked closet by Biden lawyers as they packed up an office once used by Biden. By comparison: Donald Trump carried — or had carried — boxes and boxes of classified material to his Florida home, Mar-a-Lago.

The same day Biden lawyers discovered the documents, the White House counsel contacted the National Archives and Records Administration and the agency retrieved the documents the next day. Meanwhile, after months of discussions between the National Archives and the recalcitrant Trump (who at one point returned a few boxes that included classified material), FBI agents executed a search warrant and went to Mar-a-Lago and found far more than they’d expected to find, including hundreds of classified documents — including some marked “top secret” — which Trump had no business stealing. (Trump called the search a “raid” because he is the high priest of the politics of victimization and Missouri’s Lanky Fascist, Sen. Josh Hawley, is his under-priest.)

Still, why wasn’t this discovery announced in November? Let’s hope we know soon. From a Yahoo News story:

A Chicago-based US government attorney, John Lausch, is currently investigating the matter and has already provided a preliminary report to Attorney General Merrick Garland. Details of that report have yet to be made available.
