When your government cannot handle the truth
They come for the activists. Then? They come for the scientists.
On Friday, five leading scientists in the field of diabetic research were ejected from an American Diabetes Association conference in New Orleans because they handed out reprints of a journal editorial that criticizes the raping felon’s sustained attack on science.
Below is the title of the recent editorial, which you can read in its entirety here:
And here’s another video of the authorities cracking down on the scientists.
Among other concerns, the editorial sounded the alarm for the raping felon’s proposed draconian cuts from the budget of the National Institutes of Health, the results of — long- and short-term — which would be disastrous, according to United for Medical Research.
(So of course us non-scientific types have to ask: How does the bloated bloviator expect to have his multiple health issues addressed? Fairy dust and prayer?)
Ejected were:
Steven Kahn, professor of medicine at the University of Washington and editor-in-chief of Diabetes Care, who co-authored the published editorial
Former ADA President Desmond Schatz of the University of Florida, Gainesville
Aaron Kelly, pediatrics professor at the University of Minnesota
Justin Ryder of Northwestern University
Irl Hirsch, also of the University of Washington
Just look at the law enforcement officials crowding around them. And here’s the mealy-mouthed statement from the ADA’s media team, from MedPage Today:
"These attendees were escorted out by our onsite event security because they demonstrated behavior not consistent with this code of conduct," the media team said in a statement. "They were respectfully given the opportunity to cease this behavior and chose not to which is why they were escorted out."
Yeah. Sure. According to that same link:
The code of conduct "ensures that the meeting remains safe, productive, and centered on advancing diabetes science," according to the statement.
I’m going to go ahead and call bullshit and you should, too.
But lemme get this straight.
Defending scientific research = bad
Toeing the line drawn by a fascist regime = good.
Because if this isn’t full-on fascism, I don ‘t know my fascism. Long live science. Long live data-based research, devoid of partisan horseshit. Fuck Donald Trump and the gargoyle he rode in on.

Well the ADA probably has some billionaires pressuring them - just like the owner of the NY Knick’s is a MAGA supporter so he chooses to let the raping racist felon ruin the third game of the series so that he can attend - he is not popular in NY so I hope the booing is so loud it rocks the Garden!
So, they were warned.
They were given an explanation.
Nevertheless, they persisted, eh?
Good on them!
