This is not an ad, simply two of the products I’ve been guzzling for the last week.

I have always been prone to colds, but after covering the 9/11 attacks on NYC in 2001, I breathed in something nasty and acquired adult onset asthma and an even greater proclivity to lung issues.

This past week, I’ve been battling bronchitis, and the bronchitis has been winning. I started out feeling as if I’d swallowed razor blades, and then developed congestion that nothing seemed to alter as I cheerfully started my way up and down the colds & flu aisle at my local Walgreens. My go-to Mucinex let me down, as did Robitussin. Only a delicate cocktail of the Quils (pictured), along with tons of water and rest is making a difference. I believe the patient will survive.
