After stunning testimony at yesterday’s Jan. 6th committee hearing regarding the former president’s attempt to use the Department of Justice to overturn the 2020 presidential election, my son, his soon-to-turn-11-year-old twins, and I are heading out for a long (nearly 1,400 miles) drive to the homeland to hang out with cousins, eat too much, and laugh ourselves silly.
We leave the situation — was there any Republican bold-faced name who didn’t ask for a pardon from the former president? — in your capable hands.
While we’re away, I will take a break from this Substack, and you should, too. Paid subscribers’ subscriptions are paused until Wednesday, July 6, when I’ll return. In other words, if, as of today, you have three days left on your subscription, you’ll still have three days left on July 6. Time freezes, the family travels, and I’ll have new stories to tell when I get back.
In the meantime, stay safe, keep laughing, and don’t let the assholes get you down.
Enjoy, rest and renew! ❤️
Have fun. Recharge. Revel in what Mother Nature has to offer!! Most of all stay safe. I’m asking an army of angels to be with you just to make extra sure. 😎😁😇
