Just one person bears responsibility for the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to the final report of the House Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. The perpetrator was the same man who instructed state officials to “just say that the election was was [sic] corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican Congressmen.”
