Or turn them into a diorama.
I’ve told the grandkids about a Peeps diorama I made once that was a recreation of Washington crossing the Delaware. I do not remember why I settled on this as my inspiration, but I published the photo on the dear, departed Dating Jesus blog, which is lost to the ages.
I suppose you had to be there.
I could not interest the grandkids in building dioramas, so I am saving the Peeps I gave them for Easter for when they visit next, and we will melt them in the microwave. Those nasty candies are not good for anything else, ever (though I found a recipe that has me thinking).
We can disagree on politics. We can belong to different faith groups — or none — but I’m really going to have to draw the line if you admit you eat Peeps.
Not only delicious, but educational! https://www.sciencebuddies.org/blog/science-activities-peeps
Someone I know once used them as the base for placecards on the dinner table.
