No, no, no. I have learned about various parts of this document in news reports and commentaries. Will not waste my time reading it. It is scary—to realize that DT and his followers think this way, believing this is good for the country. Rather than reading I will spend my time sending out postcards to swing voters. Swords definitely up!

The nonsense they use for justification of this is a series of steaming piles of horse shit. When you make decisions based on lies, that's what you need to expect.

My morning reads include your Substack and Professor Richardson’s Substack. After reading both this morning I feel sick and fear for our future! The “Do Harm” Congress seems beyond repair and those members who dared put reason over irrationality are bailing out! Finally, after seeing the MAGA hit list which includes the DOE I am reminded of Lieberman escorting DeVos to her confirmation hearing and speaking in support of her appointment - what a guy?!?

Had nothing laudatory to say upon his leave-taking. I remember his later years as a war hawk far differently.

But stay strong. Swords up.

When he came up for reelection to the Senate in 1994 I was resident in Connecticut concentrating primarily on grad school work. But I knew that he was de facto a Republican, and I didn't want to vote for him. I asked a Connecticut born and bred colleague what name I could write in to be most communicative, not that I expected to communicate.

I have been utterly disgusted by the weeping and fan dancing over his death.

The Democrats (AND traditional Republicans) really need to ramp up the alarm bells, using simple, easy to understand messaging. The old Republicans are no more. The party has been hijacked by a group that promotes authoritarianism. It's not hyperbole, it's telling it like it is! Republican voters need clear warning and need another option.

I barely got past the photos of the three guys on the “project team”. Looks like Whitey QAnon Whiterson missed picture day.
