Let's unpack this social media post
It's from the White House. So you know it's crap.
Whoever is responsible for posting on the White House’s X account on Saturday thought it fruitful to create an editor’s mark-up of Thursday’s New York Times front page, the one with the story about Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Maryland) meeting with kidnapped-and-held-in-a-concentration-camp Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
The arrogant inhumanity of this post is astounding — except with this regime, it really isn’t. We’ve come to expect them to find a hole in which to sink, and to bring their shovels with them so they can dig to new lows.
The cruelty is the point, so yuck it up, assholes. We see you. We expect nothing more.
But they’re not trolling the senator or the wronged man from Maryland. They’re trolling the rule of law, because they believe they can.
What strikes me as really weird is that this post can now be entered as evidence, for when the Trump regime tries to lie that they are, in fact, “facilitating” (the court’s wording, not mine) the return of Abrego Garcia.
This kind of social media swinging it from the left to the right plays well with the base, but in court? This is now evidence that does not bode well for the fascists. While they’re already kissing contempt charges on the lips, I hope the First Felon’s weasel lawyers are prepared to twist themselves into knots explaining this away.
So keep it up, y’all. He will be returned and you? Will be an asterisk in the history books, under “fascism.”

Oh so guilty. The lack of empathy doesn't shock me anymore. The immaturity is no surprise. The celebrated cruelty is expected. This shit needs to be stopped, before their deeds become the accepted norm, which is their end goal.
After watching Mr. Abrego Garcia’s wife and family during the briefing yesterday, it broke my heart seeing his wife trying to keep her composure while listening to Sen. Van Hollen. It has to be so difficult to have a spotlight placed on her and her kids for her husband’s abduction when all they tried to do was live their lives in peace.
And I sincerely hope she didn’t see that NYT altered headline. All this during the holiest Christian week in the calendar. There is no bottom for the cesspool that is this administration! ⚔️
