How's the administration doing on fulfilling the bleak promise of Project 2025?

Quite well, actually, to the detriment of all of us.

Project 2025 Tracker is keeping tabs on the diapered felon who rapes’ progress for implementing the ultra-conservative canon as put forward by the damnable Heritage Foundation (you remember, the blueprint he insisted had nothing to do with him).

Overall, the administration has successfully completed roughly a third of the tasks set out for them in Project 2025, which you know, if you’ve spent any time on this Substack, is dedicated to dismantling the federal government as much as possible — and then dismantling some more with the intention of replacing it with nothing — or letting the states pick up the slack. Or letting poor people die on the streets because boostraps, people! Bootstraps!

The Stupid Ass Ugly Bill — which at this writing, does not have enough House votes to move to a debate and GOD I HOPE IT DIED WHILE WE SLEPT — does quite a bit to advance the project in a slashy/burny kind of way. In fact, passage of this killer bill will allow the ultra-MAGAts to leap ahead in their scheduled heartache and pain for everyone but the most well-heeled.

If you go to the tracker, you’ll see that the administration has made quite a lot of progress dismantling civil rights protections, more progress than they’ve made advancing their anti-immigrant cause.

If you check how they’re coming on destroying public education, though, Connecticut’s own Linda McMahon, secretary of the education department, appears to be falling behind schedule, a bit. And that’s a good thing (for the rest of us). May Linda continue under-performing until the Lord calls her home. Or Satan, one.

I hate this timeline we’re in. It is the stupidest.
