Oh, Lordy, there are tapes.

You sometimes learn the hard way to never let ‘em shoot you from below.

Ronna Romney McDaniel is about to go through some things after there surfaced a tape in which she is recorded trying to rig the 2020 presidential election.

And thank you, The Detroit News, for your fine reporting on this.

“If you can go home tonight, do not sign it…we can get you lawyers,” the chairwoman of the GOP was recorded saying in a Nov. 2020 phone call that included the First Felon and two members of the Wayne County (Mich.) Board of Canvassers.

The two — Monica Palmer and William Hartmann — took Trump and Romney McDaniel’s advice, went home, and then later tried to say they’d been pressured into certifying their county’s votes. Hartmann died after being hospitalized with COVID, and Palmer has said she’s been threatened for her role in the election. (If you’re inclined to threaten any one over, well, anything, remember that Ms. Palmer will now be spending money on lawyers and time explaining herself, and you should pour your energies into watching that — silently.)

That TFG was recorded pressuring election officials is really not news. I mean, my God, but he’s blatant. But now Romney McDaniel, a Wayne County resident, has some explaining to do. In a statement, she told the Detroit News that:

“What I said publicly and repeatedly at the time, as referenced in my letter on Nov. 21, 2020, is that there was ample evidence that warranted an audit.”

That is what is still known as a “lie,” or “falsehood” or even “horse shit.” And this probably will not win the unpopular Romney McDaniel any GOP friends. I am tryingf to work up some compassion on this, but I seem to have misplaced this week’s supply. Instead, let’s let Jean Harlow (yes, that Jean Harlow) take us out:
