Sen. Mike Lee (MAGA-Utah) took to social media after the assassination of a Minnesota state representative and her husband, and the attempted assassination of a Minnesota state senator and his wife, and said:
If Lee lived as the only lawmaker who sees carnage through the lens of politics, that would be bad. But we are infested with this bullshit.
“Walz” is Gov. Tim Walz, who called the shootings by the now-captured MAGA terrorist politically-motivated. The shooter, who had a list of 70-some other targets, has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. He’ll appear in court this afternoon.
When a moral lightweight such as Lee weighs in like this after such a horrific event (which would have been equally horrific had the targets been Republicans), he contributes to the coarsening of public discourse and worse. In fact, he becomes a cheerleader for it. This is an avowed pro-life U.S. senator who cannot bring himself to decry the loss of life, post-birth. Instead, he feels called to make an unfunny joke in order to score — what’s that phrase? — “political points.”

Lee would know about scoring political points. Here he is suggesting that doing so after an earlier attempted assassination of a politician (see above) was “disrespectful.”
His social media post, if it was a comment made among friends, should get you censured. In this case, it should get him expelled, but that won’t happen, will it? We are in a shit-show run by spineless ferrets.
And so we mark another rung down the ladder as we watch the continual devolution of Mike, the man.
Here’s the hypocrite decrying the GOP presidential candidate’s crudeness in 2016.
Did he score political points there? Evidently, he didn’t score enough, because here he is scouting out Greenland with Vice President Shillbilly, scoring political points on a fact-finding mission in a land that isn’t for sale. In record time, Lee morphed into an election denier/liar and propagandist.
Lee, a Mormon, has the full-throated support of more than a few members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and why they would support him baffles me. Here’s one member making the case for Lee, and it doesn’t take long to poke holes in every sentence of that linked piece. According to Religion News Service, at the time of the ‘20 election (which Trump lost), 2/3rds of Mormon men were still clinging to the diapered felon who rapes. So evidently ol’ Mike knows on which side the bread is buttered, but at what cost to his soul?
Lee’s kind of shoot-from-the-lip bullying is dangerous. People see the message, take it to heart, and then they act on it. Lee is showing a shocking ignorance of that but then, you can dress a bully in a suit and tie, and attach “Honorable” as an honorific, but you are still looking at an amoral bully. Let’s add him to the list of 15 Senators who’ve been removed from office. This kind of behavior continues when there are zero consequences for it, save for a few mewls on social media, which these types then use in their fundraising pleas.
Here’s the process. Let it begin with Lee.
The utter soullessness and lack of morality and humanity in Lee's post is appalling. The killing of the husband and wife means that their children are now orphans. This clown is anti-abortion to save a fetus but evidently children orphaned by murder aren't at all concerning to him. He's a beast.
I keep saying this, but it keeps going through my mind every time I hear something like this.
"Aren't these people afraid of going to Hell"?
