Last month, I caved and upgraded my iPhone. The phone I turned in wasn’t holding a charge, would frequently drop calls, and basically had outlived its usefulness.
Yet I put off upgrading because I don’t know what I’m doing and figure I’m an easy mark in any electronics store.
I was right. At the store, I listened to a salesman talk about an Apple watch that came as a promotional gift with each new iPhone. Cool! I mean, I have no need of such a watch, but I thought I might know someone who could use it. So I took it.
Big mistake. Huge.
