Fox mouthpiece Maria Bartiromo hiccuped this morning when a June jobs report came out with significantly lower numbers than she’d promised. The report, from ADP, said private employers lost 33,000 jobs last month. The company’s chief economist explained:
“Though layoffs continue to be rare, a hesitancy to hire and a reluctance to replace departing workers led to job losses last month. Still, the slowdown in hiring has yet to disrupt pay growth.”
In real time and on camera, Bartiromo promised gullible viewers that the report should show an increase in 95,000 jobs, but then:
“Right now [we’re] seeing the number actually, uh, show a decline in jobs, uh, down thirty-three thousand on ADP.”
And then she moved quickly to start fluffing the so-called Gold Dome missile defense system.
Nice try, Mar. Not you nor the diapered felon who rapes can spin this first monthly job loss in more than two years. But then, if we all listened to our grandmothers and considered the source in the first place, we would have stopped listening to Bartiromo ages ago.
So yeah? No. Nothing to see here but a floating mouth spinning on Fox.
What do you expect from a talking head who works for a company that paid nearly $1B in a defamation lawsuit (but still continues to lie)?
I'm kind of shocked she actually said the real number or allowed the real number to be said. None of their viewers would actually check to see if it was accurate anyway.
