John Spitzberg, 87, of Gainesville, Fla., was arrested for crossing a police line on Friday during a demonstration against the diapered felon who rape’s scarcely-attended Teeny Weeny Peeny Parade on Friday.
About 75 veterans and military family members were protesting along with Spitzberg, and roughly 60 of them were arrested. The protest was organized by About Face: Veterans Against the War and Veterans for Peace, of which Spitzberg is a lifetime member.
Early Saturday morning, when Spitzberg was released, someone asked how it felt to be arrested at his age.
“I’m just getting started,” he said.
