A 10-year old Ohio girl was raped
Because of the Supreme Court, she then had to go to Indiana for an abortion
When the story appeared, it was picked apart by some conservatives (with the yapping terrier known as Gym Jordan, who subsequently deleted a tweet questioning the veracity of the story, leading the charge). Ignorant politicians weren’t alone in their criticism. As you can see above, the Wall Street Journal called the disturbing rape story “too good” to confirm. That is just gross.
On Wed., a Columbus man was charged with the rape, a felony in the first degree. Columbus police were informed of the pregnancy through Franklin County Children Services after the girl’s mother reported the crime.
Criticism of the piece kicked into overdrive after Pres. Biden mentioned the girl in a speech. Faux news organizations jumped on board because their stance is always if information came from Pres. Biden, it cannot be true. Things got ugly. Read this section from a column by David DeWitt, of the Ohio Capital Journal:
The Washington Post, the conservative Daily Caller and other media outlets published stories saying that the case was unverified. The Wall Street Journal Editorial page suggested the story was a “fanciful tale.” The National Review’s Michael Brendan Dougherty referred to the case as “a fictive abortion and a fictive rape.”
Republican Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost went on Fox News Monday to raise further doubts. He said he works closely with law enforcement authorities and he’d gotten “not a whisper” about the case.

Ohio U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan tweeted, “Another lie. Anyone surprised?”
Ohio bans abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected, according to the Indy Star. It makes no exceptions for rape or incest.
So while it’s easy to cry “fake news,” this is real, it really happened and will continue to happen so long as people who can get pregnant are denied this important medical procedure, and the 10-year old girl deserved far better, goddammit.
Think of Gym Jordan and his past involvement with sexual abuse of the wrestlers at OSU! He is a 'beacon of light' for the party that claims to be "pro-life, pro-family values"....let that sink in! Oh and he can become the next chair of the House Judiciary committee shall the gQp win the majority in November! Jordan and every male denouncing this story of a 10 year old need to be outed. As for the pervert who committed this crime, remove ALL his reproductive organs with a rusty scalpel and NO anesthesia! After that let him rot in a vermin infested cell! How's dem apples?!?
